Our first Citizen of the Week is Dr. Luke on Call. You might recognize him from our FLASH telegram group, as he’s been extremely helpful and active in there. He’s even gone the extra mile to host informative XIO webinars and physical meetups in Cape Town, South Africa!

Without further ado, here’s the interview:

Where are you from, and what do you do for a living? If you weren’t doing _______ , what would your dream job be?

Cape Town, South Africa. Medical doctor, investor and educator. I am living my dream.

What’s your favorite food? Top 3 favorite albums of all time?
Barbecue rump steak/ Sheared Tuna.

What’s one interesting fact about you that most people don’t know?
I don’t eat cucumbers.

What’s your favorite place you’ve ever traveled to?

Kgalagadi Game Park in the Kalahari Desert.

Favorite quote of all time?
“The Truth shall set you Free.”
How did you first get into the crypto?

I bought Bitcoin in mid- 2017 after hearing about it from a friend, and then got Utrust (UTK) in their ICO – I still have it:blush:.

What excites you most about the potential of the crypto/blockchain industry?

Payments and investment opportunities for the unbanked and poorest that are most affected by inflation from their own fiat currencies

How did you first hear about XIO?

From “Denome” on Youtube, and then a bit later “Ivan on Tech.”

What is your favorite aspect of XIO?

The idea that this will be a studio that acts as a launch pad for various financial investing instruments, all available with the push of a button on a dApp!
What do you love most about the XIO community ? Explain a bit more about your particular niche within the XIO community, and how you got started?

Global friendships and a healthy competitive spirit that promotes the development of financial products. I love to communicate with people from different cultures and languages, so I started a weekly webinar with the XIO citizens to discuss competition tactics, investment ideas and the general DeFi and crypto market. It’s called “Studio Sessions” – watch this space!
